#雅思写作#我记得去年考过关于女性参军类话题，也考过要求辩证分析女性当领导人的好坏，此类雅思作文也常被雅思考试点名。很巧的是，来出国后的第一篇论文写的就是关于男女平等这个话题的，于是我读了很多文献资料后知道这个世界还有很多角落依旧存在男女不平等的状态，例如印度多发的性侵案件，非洲某些部落的婚姻包办制度等，且看发达国家，依旧会有很多男女不平等的现象，尤其是职场上的，所以关于性别这个话题也就成为了当今的热点话题，一直争论不休。
不过值得一提的是，在我写这篇性别不平等的论文时，我只注重找女性受到不平等待遇的相关文章，却忽视了，其实男性也会遇到不平等待遇或偏见，例如男性芭蕾舞演员、男性拉丁舞演员或者男性从事所谓的 “适合女性做的工作”时，会被人用有色眼睛看待。我同学就写到了男性不平等待遇的例子，因此他的论文就得到了很高的评价，因为他的讨论很有深度，也很全面。
不过雅思中，经常考的是女性角色的不平等以及社会观念的改变对女性角色的影响，我把相关的话题素材整体到底下了，欢迎点赞收藏。
01女性在教育受到的歧视
1在某些社会中，妇女必须面对性别歧视，因为她们没有像男子那样有相同的受教育机会。
Women have to face gender discrimination in some societies, where they do not have the same educational opportunities as men.
2在某些学科中，他们要么任职人数过多。例如，在护理和幼儿教育中，女生的比例过高
They are either over-represented in some subjects. In nursing and early childhood education, for example, a disproportionate number of students are female.
女性在工作中受到的歧视
1性别不平等在劳动世界中也很明显，因为妇女发现很难升迁。
Gender inequality is also obvious in the world of work, as women have found it difficult to break the glass of ceiling.
2工资差距仍然存在于许多职业中，在这些职业中，女性在同等职位上的收入不及男性。
The wage gap remains in many occupations, where women are not able to earn as much money as men do in the same position.
3妇女在男性占主导地位的职业中所占的比例不足。
Women are underrepresented in male-dominated occupation.
女性在家庭的问题
1在许多文化中，妇女仍然陷于传统的性别角色。他们负责大部分家务活。无论他们在任何有利可图的职业中是否有才华，都期望他们符合社会的期望。
Women are still trapped in traditional gender roles in many cultures. They are responsible for the majority of housework. They are anticipated to fit into society’s expectations, whether or not they have talent in any lucrative occupation.
2更糟糕的是，预计许多妇女将承担顺从的角色。他们遭受家庭暴力。
Even worse, many women are expected to assume submissive roles. They are subject to domestic violence.
女性可能有的一些特点：
1许多妇女陷于家庭角色。他们将所有时间都花在做家务/家务上。
Many women are trapped in domestic roles. They devote all their time to household chores/housework.
2妇女必须克服其生理上的弱点。他们无法像男人一样完成体力劳动。只有一小部分妇女选择参军。
Women have to overcome their biological weakness. They are not able to complete physically demanding work as well as men do. Only a small percentage of women choose to join the army.
3妇女必须休产假，这可能影响其职业发展。由于母亲的本能，他们在养育孩子方面必须承担更大的责任。
Women have to take maternity leave, which can affect their career progression. Due to their maternal instinct, they have to take greater responsibility in rearing children.
4妇女可能不会选择那些需要投入精力和时间的工作，例如工程工作，因为她们可能不像男性那样具有竞争力和雄心壮志。
Women may not choose those jobs which require commitment and an investment of time, such as engineering jobs, because they may not be as competitive and ambitious as male counterparts.
5妇女善于沟通。他们更有可能表现出同理心。他们倾向于对别人的感觉敏感。他们还有其他特质，例如注重细节和耐心。这就是为什么它们可能适合重复性任务或在服务部门工作的原因。
Women are adept at communication. They are more likely to show empathy. They tend to be sensitive to other people’s feeling. They have other qualities such as attention to detail and patience. This is why they are possibly suitable for repetitive tasks or working in the service sector.
6女人有时情绪激动。他们不像男人那么自信。他们很难担当领导角色。
Women are sometime emotional. They are not as assertive as men. It is difficult for them to assume leadership roles.
社会的改变
1他们有更多机会接受良好的教育，从事文书工作。
They have more opportunities to receive a good education, do clerical work/ intellectual work.
2科技的进步减少了劳动强度。在兵役中，近身搏斗有所减少，这意味着妇女有更多的机会参军并在情报部门和其他部门工作。
Advances in technology have reduced menial work. In military services, hand-to-hand combat have dropped, meaning that women have more opportunities to join the army and work in intelligence and other departments.
3社会上已经促进了性别平等，并且有更多的妇女选择加入劳动力大军。分享/潜水做家务已变得司空见惯。
Gender equality has been promoted in society, and more women have chosen to enter workforce. Sharing/diving housework has become commonplace.
