The Mogao Caves or Mogao Grottoes, formed by a system of 492 temples, 25 kilometers southeast of the center of Dunhuang, is an oasis strategically located at a religious and cultural crossroad on the Silk Road, in Gansu Province, China.

莫高窟，是由492座寺庙组成的一个整体，位于中国甘肃省敦煌市中心东南25公里处。敦煌市丝绸之路上的一个绿洲，是宗教和文化的交汇点。
