我从小就想：要是能在运动会时拿到跑步的奖就好了。那个时候，我不仅小，而且跑步的速度也比较慢，所以我一直都不敢参加跑步比赛。

爸爸就对我说：“如果你真的想在运动会上拿到跑步的奖，那么我们现在就可以开始练习了。”我点了点头。

时间一天一天的过去了，我的速度也加快了许多，这都要感谢爸爸每天晚上都坚持带我去体育场跑步。

三年过去了，二年级时的我与现在的我差距也很大了，而且各个方面都有了进步。

就在去年的运动会上，长跑800米的奖项中竟出现了我的名字。我十分开心，小小的心里充满了欢乐。

通过这件事，我也懂得了一个道理：行动未必带来快乐，但不行动一定不能带来快乐。

只要自己用心的去做着每一件事，在每一件事上动了脑筋，那么每一件事就都能够做得很好。
